Her purpose is to reconnect people to their love for nature (inside out) and with her company Doing Business Doing Good she empowers conscious leaders and their businesses to transform on Purpose, becoming regenerative forces for good creating nature positive impact for all of nature to thrive.

Sophie Wisbrun-Overakker
Sophie is a purpose-to-impact accelerator for conscious business leaders who want to leave a regenerative legacy. She guides them from strategy to impact on their regeneration journey to accelerate toward becoming nature positive. She empowers them to lead from purpose and to implement love for nature, and love for life, in every aspect of their business.
Sophie founded Doing Business Doing Good (DBDG), a Best for the World B Corp that empowers leaders and companies to become a regenerative force for good. DBDG offers in-company sustainable transformation programs, B Corp certification guidance, training, keynotes, workshops, coaching, and nature retreats.
She launched the first Virtual Global Sustainability Summit (2017) with 30 sustainability experts that inspired thousands of business leaders to use their work and business as a force for good.
Sophie has worked with CEOs and Founders of SMEs across industries and countries. For example, she has been guiding the Dutch Retailer Xenos to develop a nature-positive vision and become a lighthouse for sustainable retailing.
She also empowered a coffee and tea company, We Wonder Company, to embrace a purpose igniting a climate-positive movement turning every cup into a “good” cup.
For 15+ years, she worked as an international sustainability leader and marketing director in companies like Procter & Gamble and Novartis. Her work as a sustainable changemaker and the first pioneer to accelerate sustainable transformation got awarded on several occasions.
She is also a community worker, co-creating a Regenerative Nature School, and active in schools, universities, and sustainability courses across the globe, to guide students and business leaders to reconnect to their Soul Purpose and unleash their potential as thriving changemakers.
She has taught e.g. Master students on Transformational Leadership for Sustainability at the University of Applied Sciences in Ulm, Germany, and Regeneration at the ESCP Business School in Paris, France, and many more.
Sophie has a Master’s in Business Administration, an MBA specialization in Sustainability, is a Certified Biomimicry Practitioner helping companies to become regenerative based on the lessons of nature, a certified quantum energy transformation coach, a certified purpose coach, and a certified B Corp Leader having guided companies to become Certified B Corps successfully.
Sophie (alias EcoSophie as per her philosophy) is Dutch, a mum of 3 children, and lives in Goa, India where she is often found in nature, amongst students, regenerative leaders, and online. Wherever she goes picking up litter and creating clean-up movements. As her business expands, forests grow in the Netherlands and India to reconnect people to nature and grow biodiversity.

Sophie is an award-winning social intrapreneur and purpose activator, an international marketing and sustainable business executive, a systems thinker, and a regenerative entrepreneur.
She is passionate to leave the world a better place through the power of purposeful and regenerative leaders, businesses, and brands. Sophie believes businesses can be and should be a regenerative force for good solving social and environmental challenges.
Since Sophie decided to study and work in business to show that it can be done differently, she has been on a mission to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world and an economy that is based on love and abundance instead of fear and scarcity. A world that is purpose-driven, inclusive, regenerative, and circular.
Sophie has worked internationally as marketing director designing several award-winning sustainability campaigns, and as Head of Sustainability in FMCG and pharmaceutical industries for 15+ years. (Procter & Gamble, Novartis). On several occasions, she has been awarded as a pioneer to have successfully transformed organizations, people, businesses, brands, and consumer habits to become more sustainable and purpose-driven.
In 2017 Sophie founded Doing Business Doing Good (DBDG), a Best for the World B Corp that empowers leaders and companies to become a regenerative force for good. She also empowered leaders across companies through her proven Purpose to Impact coaching programs to reconnect to their Soul Purpose and create positive impacts in their life and work.
She identified an important need for education and support among conscious business leaders. Many business leaders want to leave a positive impact, but they do not know how or where to start. She experienced it herself; it can be a lonely journey to pioneer the change. Changemakers need each other to maximize and accelerate their positive impact.
That’s why she organized 2017 the World’s 1st Global Free Online Doing Business & Doing Good Summit. She interviewed 25+ sustainable leaders with the purpose is to inspire, empower and equip business professionals to be a force for good and leave a positive impact. She decided to start sharing all her knowledge, tips, tools, and connections out there – to help business leaders to realize the change faster.
